About the I.T. Department
The Information Technology Department (or just “I.T.”) supports the district’s instructional and business use of computers, copiers, projectors, and much more. It is I.T.’s job to make sure that everyone in the district can do their jobs, and to ensure that students and teachers have the tools they need to maximize educational opportunities through available technology.

Who We Are
To achieve the educaitonal and business goals of Cairo-Durham CSD, the I.T. Department has several specialists (pictured above, from left to right: Dominique Morehouse, Jaime Kikpole, Gare Reeve and Ava Cameron).
Network Administrator and Department Manager
Handles long-range planning, Internet access, servers, budgeting and purchasing, designs new solutions, and works with the district and school administration. Creates custom solutions where beneficial.
Support and Instructional Technologist
Provides technical support to students, teachers, and school administration. Specializes in helping teachers learn what tools are available and the best ways to use those tools to improve learning.
Provides support to students, teachers, and school administration. Shares server management with Jaime Kikpole (see above.) Creates custom solutions when necessary, along with the Network Administration. Provides advanced support to other technicians when complicated issues occur.
Support (Monday - Wednesday)
Provides support to students and teachers. Specializes in supporting the students' computers and in quick responses.
