Record Number of Student Artworks Chosen for Regional Exhibit

Cairo-Durham High School set a new personal record when six pieces of student artwork were selected for participation in the 19th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition this spring. It is the highest amount of CDHS student artwork chosen for this exhibition to date! There is a total of 100 student works selected from regional high schools each year. 

Congratulations to student artists Christina Cammarata (11), Dante DiGiovanni (10) and Nick Lipari (10) in Digital Photography, as well as Colleen Selner (12) in Digital Photography II and Grace Menear (12) in AP Studio Art. Grace Menear had two of her works chosen for the show.

The exhibit runs from April 24-May 18, 2018 at the Albany Center Gallery (488 Broadway, Albany, NY). The Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12-5 p.m.

An Opening Reception for students, friends and families is scheduled for Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Due to the size of the gallery, a separate Opening Reception for the public will be held on Friday, May 4, from 5-8 p.m.

The 19th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition is sponsored by the Capital Area Art Supervisors, the New York State Art Teachers Association and The Albany Center Gallery.
