In Miss Wagor's & Mrs. Legg's class at Cairo-Durham Elementary School, students engaged with the concept of volume through a hands-on activity using unit cube blocks.
The class was challenged to construct as many rectangular prisms as possible, carefully recording each prism's dimensions. Through this activity, students were able to gain a deeper understanding of volume measurement and its real world applications!

- ADD POINTS to your classroom jug by adding pennies and dollar bills.
- SUBTRACT POINTS from other grade levels by adding silver coins to their “sabotage” jug
THE GRADE LEVEL WITH THE MOST POINTS WINS A FANCY LUNCH!

Students in Mrs. Whitbeck’s and Mrs. Lopez’s class at Cairo-Durham Elementary School have been working hard to master their multiplication facts and just completed a multiplication challenge that began in December!

What an amazing turnout last night, March 14, 2024, for the annual "March Madness" Cairo-Durham Elementary School faculty and staff vs. Cairo-Durham Middle/High School faculty and staff basketball game to benefit all four grade levels at CDHS!
