Last Friday's PBIS carnival was a big success!
The students in Mrs. Lopez’s /Mrs. Thompson’s class and Mrs. Lopez’s / Mrs. Whitbeck’s class used their writing time to make special cards for Story Farms.
Jim and Irene donated 150 pumpkins for the students at Cairo Durham Elementary School to paint at their carnival on September 27th!
We are all so thankful for their consistent support and generosity every year!!!!
The Grade 2 Thompson / Lopez Star of the Week is Minna! Minna participated in all activities, completed her work, waited her turn patiently, and was kind to everyone all week!

Today, there was a kindergarten meet the teachers event at the elementary school! Principal Mr. Stein welcomed families to the school and shared a presentation. Soon-to-be kindergartners and their guardians toured the building, met their teachers, and took bus rides around the building to learn about bus safety.
