Girls Varsity Basketball lost last night to RCS by a score of 55-24 and on their Senior Night the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team defeated CA by a score of 3-1.

Our awesome NHS members and their friends took time out of their day last week to create Valentine's Day cards for nursing home patients, an annual initiative led my NYS Senator Michelle Hinchey's office.
Varsity Bowling came in Fourth Place in the Patroon Conference Championship on Monday at the Hoe Bowl in Catskill. The team is now looking forward to sectionals.
The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team lost a close match to Greenville 3-2 in a very competitive rematch from earlier in the season.

The Cairo-Durham Central School District would like to send a special shoutout and wish the best of luck to Kingston C. at CDHS as he takes on the next level of exams for the Mathematical Association of America later today! Kingston recently learned that he placed in the top 3% of students nationwide following his first exam, which qualified him for the next step.

On Friday night the Girls Varsity Basketball Team, the Boys JV Basketball Team, and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team all lost to Hudson. The girls lost 57-21, the boys jv lost 82-23, and the boys varsity lost 73-53.
Shoutout to our four senior Varsity Bowling team members who celebrated a 3-2 victory over Catskill on their senior night on Jan. 31! Congratulations to Chris Clow, Patrick Mooney, Trinh Quang and Danny Winfield.
The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville by a score of 3-0. The boys now have a two game winning streak and their next game is against Greenville on Monday, 2/6.

The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Cobleskill-Richmondville by a score of 3-1 and the Varsity Bowling Team defeated Catskill for their Senior Match by a score of 3-2. In a basketball triple header last night against Greenville the Boys JV Team took the loss, the Girls Varsity lost 59-20, and the Boys Varsity lost by a score of 51-37.

The Varsity Wrestling Team lost a tough match tonight on their Senior Night to Watervliet, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team is on a two game winning streak defeating Taconic Hills today 41-31, and the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team lost to Voorheesville 3 -2.

The chosen nominees will be honored at a Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Spring 2023 (date and location TBD).
Criteria:
Nominees must have contributed to the improvement of Cairo-Durham CSD with extensive service through: academics, athletics, coaching, teaching, administration, employment, volunteerism and/or community service.
Nominees can be past or present staff members, school administrators, Board of Education members, alumni and community members or organizations. (Please note that a former student nominee must be out of school for at least 10 years to be considered for induction into the Mustang Pride Hall of Fame.)
Some examples of extensive service/support include (but are not limited to):
Academics (e.g., teaching, tutoring).
Involvement in school athletics (e.g., coaches, officials, volunteers).
Mentoring.
Volunteer work/community service.
Community relations.

The Mustang Pride Hall of Fame was established in 2017 to recognize individuals and/or groups who have worked to support public education in the Cairo-Durham CSD community.
