The pre-reservation form for "Newsies" tickets is now closed. Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Cairo-Durham High School lobby and about one-and-a-half hours before each performance (March 1-3). Looking forward to seeing you there!


The Cairo-Durham Middle School Student Council is sponsoring a "Glow Dance" on Friday, March 22 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Cairo-Durham Middle School! Pre-sale tickets are available during announcements the week of March 18-21 for $8, and tickets will be available for $10 at the door. Concessions will be available for purchase at the dance.
Students are encouraged to wear neon, glow sticks, or anything that shows up under the black lights! Can't wait to see you there!

On March 14, 2024, the Cairo-Durham High School Classes are hosting an 'Elementary Teacher vs. Middle/High School Teacher' basketball game as a fundraiser! Tickets for entrance to the game will be sold, as well as concessions.
The CDTA will sell 50/50 tickets, with proceeds toward the CDTA Scholarship fund. The Booster Club will be selling school merchandise.
Each high school class has been assigned a list of concession items to avoid duplicates. The money raised from the concession stand will offset the cost of class activities such as pep rallies, prom, the senior trip and more. Please see the attachment for what each class is responsible for.

2023-24 Cairo-Durham Middle School Second Quarter Honor Rolls Announced
CAIRO, NY – The Cairo-Durham Central School District is excited to announce its Middle School Principal’s Honor Roll, High Honor Roll and Honor Roll members for the second quarter of the 2023-24 school year.
To qualify for Principal’s Honor Roll, students must record a grade point average of 95 or higher throughout the quarter. To qualify for High Honor Roll, students must record a grade point average between 90 and 94. To qualify for Honor Roll, students must record a grade point average between 85 and 89.

The Cairo-Durham Central School District is proud to announce Bridget "Bunny" Agostinoni, Emily Brunner, Patricia Gibson, and Caroline Benton Pfleger as the inductees of the Mustang Pride Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
“The four inductees all exemplify passion for the Cairo-Durham Central School District in their own ways and contributions,” said Superintendent Michael Wetherbee. “Their extensive service to the District in the field of academics, athletics, coaching, teaching, administration, employment, volunteerism and/or community service have left an incredible impact on our students, staff and school community.”
The Mustang Pride Hall of Fame Class of 2024 induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Shamrock House in East Durham at 5 p.m. To purchase tickets to the event, please contact Tom Karnes, committee member, by email at tkarnes17@aol.com or phone, 518-821-0616. The Boys and Girls Modified Basketball Teams both lost to Catskill on Monday night. The last games of the season for both teams are on Wednesday, 2/14, in the High School Gym starting at 4:45.
