The CDMS Halloween Dance and Costume Contest is Friday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m., sponsored by the MS Student Council! Admission is $6 and there will be refreshments available. Can't wait to see those costumes!

October is National Principals Month and we at Cairo-Durham CSD are so proud to call these individuals our principals!
We handed out a bunch of positive referrals yesterday to students who showed the traits we learned about the last few weeks. We also shouted out our students who have the top trait of Curiosity, Teamwork, Open-Mindedness and Being Present & Giving Others My Attention. Congratulations to all of our students who received a positive referral yesterday!
Students were very excited to receive their referrals as well as the anticipation to hear if their name would be chosen from our “Shoes & Shields” caught being good raffle.
Shout out to Ms. LaPierre and her grade level teams for working on the amazing “Falling into Positivity” bulletin boards that were voted on yesterday…and shared in a previous post. Be sure to check them out if you have not already!
Congratulations to the the 7th grade for winning the 3rd Annual "Fall Into Positivity" Bulletin Board Contest hosted by P2!
Grade-level teams were given fall-colored supplies to then design and create a bulletin board to portray what P2 means to them.
They were judged on clear message, layout and creativity by several teachers and Assistant Principal Klauber.
The 7th grade winners will receive ice cream at lunch one day next week.
